Recurrent Varicose veins

Recurring varicose veins are varicose veins that return or reappear after treatment or surgery. Most patients stay varicose vein free following treatment and if varicose veins do come back, it is often years later. If you do have recurrent varicose veins they could be treated again with BMI varicose vein treatment.

Recurrent varicose veins can happen if new veins grow following the treatment or removal of a varicose vein. You may be more likely to suffer from recurrent varicose veins if you have a family history of varicose veins.

Recurrent varicose veins are often more complicated than first time veins and require careful assessment. Treatment options include traditional varicose vein surgery and laser surgery, both also used for first time varicose veins.
